About the Chamber

The Chamber's mission is to serve the membership, promote responsible economic growth, a positive business climate and an enhanced quality of life in Fauquier County and its trade area. The Chamber is a full-time organization dedicated to helping its members succeed.

Formed in 1921, the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce is governed by a Board of Directors. As the largest and most experienced business association in Fauquier County, this chamber promotes its members exclusively, while representing the county’s commercial interests as a whole. A strong voice for business, major areas of activity and committees include existing business, economic development, legislative affairs, membership, finance, and promotion of tourism. Ad hoc committees address issues on education, programs and services to members, legislation, the environment and other topics as needed.

This chamber focuses on providing development and publication of promotional/descriptive materials, business seminars and community forums on local concerns.

Day-to-day operations are supervised by a team consisting of a full-time President/CEO and a support staff of three from offices at 205-1 Keith Street in Warrenton (540-347-4414). Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Fridays, 9am to 4 pm.
