Formed in 1921, the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce is governed by a Board of Directors. As the largest and most experienced business association in Fauquier County, this chamber promotes its members exclusively, while representing the county’s commercial interests as a whole.
A strong voice for business, major areas of activity and committees include existing business, economic development, legislative affairs, membership, finance, and promotion of tourism. Ad hoc committees address issues on education, programs and services to members, legislation, the environment and other topics as needed.
This chamber focuses on providing valuable connections and opportunities to our membership, and representing our community of commerce in its entirety, We develop and produce informative business seminars and community forums addressing topics of all interests.
In 2007, the Chamber moved its offices to a larger space, which enables more meetings and seminars to be held at the headquarters. A full size conference room and small conference facility are available to members.
Day-to-day operations are supervised by a team consisting of a full-time President/CEO and a support staff of three from offices at 205-1 Keith Street in Warrenton (540-347-4414). Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Fridays 9am to 1pm.
