The Chamber's mission is to serve the membership, promote responsible economic growth, a positive business climate and an enhanced quality of life in Fauquier County and its trade area. The Chamber is a full-time organization dedicated to helping its members succeed.

Other major areas of activity include economic development, promotion of tourism, legislative affairs, education, environmental issues, development and publication of promotional/descriptive materials, business seminars and community forums on local concerns.

Formed in 1921, the Chamber is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of not more than 24 members including the immediate past president and representatives from the Town and County Economic Development Departments as ex-officio members.

Day-to-day operations are supervised by a team consisting of a full-time president and a support staff of three from offices at 205-1 Keith Street in Warrenton (540-347-4414). Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday 9am to 4pm.
