Horse Sense Leadership Training
Program attendance is complimentary for board, staff and volunteers of organizations operating within the PATH Foundation service area (northern Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties). For participants from other organizations, a $25 charge applies. What can a horse teach us about leadership? Join Shari J. Goodwin, Business Strategist, Leadership Coach and best-selling author in this special all-day training. Nonverbal communication is an essential component of working with horses. During this workshop, you’ll work directly with horses in Shari’s barn to complete team exercises and learn how to: Lead with clarity and confidence Use the power of nonverbal communication, energy, and intention Build harmony in your team & meet your goals No need for any riding experience. All the horse work is done unmounted. This workshop is for experienced executive directors and board chairs looking to raise their self-awareness for better relationships, increased authority, and higher productivity. Applicants should have at least 3 years’ experience in their role and are currently in an executive director or board chair position. Executive Directors should have 2 or more direct reports.
