The PATH Resource Center workshops are free to staff, volunteers, and board members of nonprofit and government organizations in the PATH Foundation footprint of northern Culpeper, Fauquier, and Rappahannock counties. Organizations outside of PATH Foundation's footprint pay $25 to attend. Philanthropy Academy Laurie Jarrett Rogers, Independent Grant Writer Wednesdays May 9 & 23 9:00 am - 12:00 Noon Join Laurie Jarrett Rogers, Independent Grant Writer, and veteran CNE trainer to learn how to create and implement a strong annual giving plan. This two-session workshop will provide time to determine how your annual giving functions currently to provide a benchmark for moving forward. Attendance at both sessions is expected. Participants will gain a solid understanding of: -Why the annual giving is considered the front line and foundation of all fundraising; -How to prepare for your upcoming year’s annual giving by evaluating the successes from your previous year’s campaign and using a series of known benchmarks; -Examples of how to get creative in your annual giving campaign; and -How to engage and involve board members and other volunteers in the annual giving process.
