POP Talks: Explore New Ways to Understand and Appreciate Differently Functioning Colleagues, Part II Neil and Linda Swanson, Free to Be ADHD Coaching Thursday, April 19, 9:00- 10:30 am This topic was so popular, we are continuing the discussion! Even if you did not come to the February POP Talks, you can still gain knowledge at this session. Not all brains function the same! That can cause frustration and tension among co-workers. Traits such as lateness, disorganization, inconsistency, and not working to potential can look like laziness or intentional refusal to conform, but that’s not always the case. Some people’s brains are wired differently from the majority. Often people who are challenged in some areas are exceptionally talented in other areas. These individuals are potentially huge assets to your organization if your organization learns to allow them to function at their best. ADHD Coaches Neil and Linda Swanson will explore these topics in an interactive session Involving videos, discussion, and exercises. Discover ways to maximize the strengths and minimize the challenges of individuals with whom you interact at work or elsewhere. Bring your questions and experiences to contribute to the discussion!
