Tree Farm Dinner Meeting & Tour
Over 10 million acres (63%) of Virginia’s woodlands are owned by folks like you. Virginia woodland owners are committed to improving the health and productivity of their forests. And over 1,200 Virginia woodland owners have taken an extra step to improve their forests by adopting and implementing the American Tree Farm Standards of Sustainability and becoming Tree Farmers. The Virginia Tree Farm Foundation would like to invite current and potential Tree Farmers to one of 3 Tree Farm Tours/Dinners this fall. Each dinner is $10 per person and includes transportation for the tour and dinner. We encourage you to bring a family member with you (only $5 extra for each family member you bring). Pre-registration is required no later than 10 days in advance. Participants will tour the Tree Farms and learn about what it means to be a Tree Farmer. You’ll also learn about the Virginia Tree Farm Foundation - where it has been and where it is going. Tree Farm Foundation employees and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.
