We are a local nonprofit community based hospice, serving all of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties.  Our mission is to  provide compassionate and dignified end-of-life medical and support care for terminally ill patients and their loved ones.  We care for everyone who qualifies for hospice care regardless of ability to pay.  The cost of unreimbursed care equates to thousands of dollars each year, and fundraisers like our gala help to offset these costs.

 

The 2012 Gala will honor two outstanding community leaders who have led the way in providing the highest quality end-of-life care in our community, Pat Bankhead and John Collins.

Governor McDonnell Announces Start of Virginia Spring Fire Season

~Citizens Should Not Burn Before 4 P.M.~

 RICHMOND – As Virginia prepares for the beginning of spring fire season which runs from Feb. 15 through April 30, Governor Bob McDonnell is warning Virginians that the threat of wildfires is increased this year due to Virginia’s mild winter.

Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center, a Piedmont United Way agency, elected two new members to its Board of Directors and new officers at its January Annual Meeting. Joining the Board are Spencer Baumgardner, a Warrenton resident and Rappahannock County attorney and Diane Muzzy of Culpeper.
