Involvement in Chamber activities provides numerous opportunities for you to meet potential new clients and to expand your business contacts.

Exposure

• The print Business Directory and online Business Directory include categorical and alphabetical listings of all Chamber members and a link to their website if provided.
• The Annual Fauquier Business Expo provides Chamber members the opportunity to expose their business and services to the general public.
• Monthly Member Luncheons and After 5 Socials provide an informal opportunity to meet, talk, learn and swap business leads.
• Lunch and Learn is a presentation given by a Chamber Member in their field of expertise. Members bring their own lunch, and have the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas.
• Ribbon Cuttings/Grand Openings are available to Chamber Members only, who have been at their new location for less than 6 months. Please call the Chamber Office for more information concerning scheduling this event.
• Leadshare Groups offer the opportunity to share leads and information with fellow Chamber members.
• Fauquier Chamber Young Professionals Group offers exposure through networking, seminars, and informal social events.
• Chamber Chat, the Chamber newsletter, provides exposure through pictures and articles about member participation at events and on committees, and offers advertising opportunities.
• The Business Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting in the fall is a major event which includes a "social hour" mixer.
• Your membership plaque and window sticker let others know you are part of the Chamber and that they should do business with you.
• Advertising Opportunities are available exclusively to members, including member mailing labels and chamber lobby advertising.
• The Old Town Warrenton Spring Festival, held the third Saturday in May, is a fun-filled family festival with arts, crafts, food, and music.

Referrals

• The Chamber office is a one-stop shop for business, newcomer and tourist needs and information. Although the office keeps and distributes demographics about the entire business community, specific referrals for products and services are directed ONLY to our members. A single referral to your business can more than cover the cost of membership.

Group Insurance Plan

• Members are eligible to apply for the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Plan, which includes a Value Added Benefits Package (Life and AD&D coverage for you, Spouse and Child Dependants plus Travel Assistance).

Education and Information

• Small Business Seminars focus on skills needed to help your business thrive (such as financing or marketing) or information needed to meet new regulations (ADA, OSHA).
• Candidates' Forums provide access to candidates for public office.
• Legislative Previews and Updates keep members informed about Virginia General Assembly activities and provide an opportunity to meet our Virginia delegates and senators.
• The Chamber office has references, resources, lists and demographics to meet your business needs or assist you in research.
• Close associations with the Town of Warrenton Office of Economic Development, Fauquier County Economic Development Office, the Vint Hill Economic Development Authority, Small Business Development Centers, Lord Fairfax Community College, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia Department of Economic Development. All provide members with information and access to these resources.
