Board Roundtable: How to Run an Effective Board Meeting Wednesday, November 6, 5:30 – 6:30 pm Cindy Colson, Center for Nonprofit Excellence ?Effective board meetings require ?timely and efficient ?communication?? with? board members?, established norms regarding board behavior, and agendas moving the board strategically forward?. Board members will have the opportunity to share, learn, and provide peer support around ?running board meetings?. During the roundtable board members will: -Share current experiences -Learn ?additional procedures for productive discussion and decision-making? -Meet other board leaders in the area for continued peer support Facilitated by Cindy Colson, space is limited to 12 participants. Organizations are encouraged to send 2 board members. Target audience: All board members, but particularly chairperson or incoming chair
