HOURS OF OPERATION

The Chamber of Commerce is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Modifications to this schedule are based on the Inclement Weather Policy and the recognized Federal Holiday schedule noted below.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - This policy applies exclusively to events and programs organized and hosted by the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce.

The Fauquier Chamber of Commerce follows the Fauquier County Public Schools closure policy.

If schools are closed for the day, then all day and evening Chamber events will be cancelled or rescheduled. For delayed openings up to 3 hours, all Chamber events scheduled prior to 12:00 PM will be cancelled or rescheduled. Chamber staff will assess conditions and advise of any further event interruptions.

Closure determinations are made by Chamber staff based on the Fauquier County Public Schools status and local safety conditions.

The Chamber will make reasonable efforts to communicate cancellations as early as possible, typically by 6:30 AM for morning events when feasible.

Official cancellation notices will be communicated through the Chamber email distribution list and posted on Chamber social media channels. Members and guests are responsible for checking the Chamber’s official communication channels for updates.

The policy does not automatically apply to individual Leadshare groups. Leadshare is an independent networking program operating under the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce, and each Leadshare group may independently determine whether to meet during school closures or delays. Leadshare meeting status and communication will be handled by each group’s chair or leadership team.

For paid events, registrations will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. If a registrant cannot attend the new date, a credit will be issued upon request.
