Alec Burnett serves as President and CEO of the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce, a position he has held since September 2021. Under his leadership, the Chamber continues its mission of promoting business growth, economic development, and community prosperity across Fauquier County, Virginia.

A longtime resident of Warrenton since the 1960s, Burnett brings extensive experience in hospitality management and operations to his role. Prior to joining the Chamber, he held several leadership positions with Hilton Hotels, where he focused on operations and brand strategy. He also served as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Fauquier Springs Country Club.

Burnett's commitment to public service is reflected in his time as an elected member of the Warrenton Town Council, where he represented Ward 2 residents and businesses from 2016 to 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Johnson & Wales University, earned between 1990 and 1992.

As President/CEO, Burnett is passionate about economic development and the Chamber's role in contributing to community prosperity, emphasizing that economic development drives infrastructure improvements, increases tax revenues, and provides resources for education, healthcare, and social services that benefit all.

Alec also serves on the Board of Directors for Experience Old Town Warrenton as well as represents Region 9 as a Board member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Executives Association.

Benjamin Musser serves as the Chamber's Operations Manager in charge of day to day operations, event planning, and member relations.

Beyond his Chamber work, Musser is an experienced residential Realtor and Associate Broker who has orchestrated successful transactions across diverse metropolitan and rural markets. He previously served as a Managing Broker overseeing up to 35 real estate agents and has built a strong reputation through referrals and repeat clients.

Musser is deeply committed to community leadership and professional development. He has been recognized as a natural leader who genuinely cares about others and makes people feel welcomed. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Piedmont Realtors, a position to which he was elected by association members, and is an active member of the Tower Club Tysons Corner, where he serves on its Board of Governors. He has also provided guidance and mentorship through the Tower Club's Jumpstart Program.

As Operations Manager, Musser plays a key role in supporting the Fauquier Chamber's mission to help the community do business through relationships, resources, and revitalization, serving an organization that represents over 500 business interests across the county.
