Sally Anne Andrew, proprietor of LeFay Cottage at Little Washington, found a home here 17 years ago. After a successful career in brand communications and live event execution that spanned 20 years, she set her sights on engaging with the local community and offering LeFay Cottage as a destination rental property. Located on five acres, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Cottage is decorated with French and English antiques, and gorgeous chandeliers, creating a shabby chic atmosphere.
Andrew’s goal is to create a magical and luxurious experience for families, friends and businesses who wish to escape to the country, whether for a weekend getaway, anniversary, birthday, reunion, wedding shower, retreat or small corporate gathering.
“Finding a charming cottage with luxury amenities, as well as a concierge service that offers guests wonderful choices for compelling experiences is a key differentiator that will keep guests coming back to LeFay Cottage at Little Washington,” said Andrew.
“The vacation rental industry is rapidly growing in popularity, drawing more consumers who want to enjoy shared experiences in a delightful setting with their friends, family or colleague
es,” said Andrew. “I’m excited to be able to provide a getaway that combines an upscale feel in a gorgeous rustic mountain setting.
Fauquier Chamber of Commerce and Businesses of Rappahannock have joined forces for the first time to co-host the ribbon cutting. “It is our belief that cross promotion of local businesses is a great way to promote tourism in the region. This event is a wonderful opportunity for business owners and leaders to come together from both counties to celebrate an opening, but also strengthen our ties,” said Joe Martin, President of Fauquier Chamber, and Theresa Wood, President of Businesses of Rappahannock.
